The concept of sticky knowledge suggests that many difficulties occur because knowledge is ‘sticky’ and difficult to move. It is the key to succeed in integrated innovation that how to overcome the knowledge stickiness in the process of integrated innovation, and smooth knowledge transfer. At this juncture “Knowledge stickiness” is tantamount to difficulty in the process of knowledge transfer. Knowledge transfer is a process in which an organization recreates a complex, causally ambiguous set of routines in new settings and keeps it functioning. Abstract: Knowledge management theorists and practitioners have examined how knowledge moves in organizations, how it is transferred, and how the return on knowledge capital can be maximized to create competitive advantage.
